Radio Access 102.5 FM is a low-power, community radio station operated by Dakota Media Access (DMA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which serves the cities of Bismarck and Mandan by managing the production facilities, equipment, programming and distribution systems for the area’s public, educational and governmental media needs. DMA is the umbrella organization that operates Community & Government Access Television, freetv.org, the Dakota Digital Film Festival, and the Community Media & Training Center.

Radio Access provides another means for DMA to fulfill its mission of providing community access to media by offering training, resources, facilities, and equipment so anyone can produce their own content. Radio Access’ studio contributes to our continued efforts to teach audio production to community members and encourage the creation of quality community audio programming.

Radio Access is an open format station, airing an eclectic mix of music and public affairs programming and is as open as can be arranged within the boundaries of the law, the FCC regulations, and our own community values. Programming decisions are determined by the Radio Access Advisory Team and staff and approved by the DMA Board of Directors.
